Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans for children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients, implementing evidence-based interventions and strategies.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions regarding treatment plans.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across settings.
- Train and supervise behavior technicians or other team members in implementing treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Ability to collect and analyze data to inform decision-making and treatment planning.
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and scheduling.
